Default Free Projection TV

Have a panasonic 47" projection TV - model #47wx51ce - free for the taking!
its 1080i, was professionally calibrated in 2003, originally purchased around 2001/2002.....
Its big, kinda heavy, but hey, its a free HDTV!

if no one wants it, its going to the recycle bin....picture is ok, rarely used these days, but with the brightness cranked to see it in a daylit room while the wife cooks in the kitchen....

drop me a pm if interested...

Just a suggestion...

I tried to give away my old 52 inch projection a year or so back. No takers.

I donated it to the local community association. They were happy to have it.

Gave it a few more years of useful life and the association appreciated it as well.

Good luck.

Does it have HDMI? Or only component for 1080i?

Give Kijiji a try, I find posting something as "free" is pretty much a free junk removal service. I've gotten rid of lots of junk stuff over the years, college students, couples moving in together, lots of folks willing to take free furniture off your hands.

This is true. There are a whole breed of kijiji shopper who scour for free stuff they probably don't even need. Almost every time I give something away there the "buyer" asks "Do you have anything else for free?"

free trammmpampolines? i thought this thread was about free tvs! no one said anything about tramammalopines! can we get a mod to change the title? 534 Centre Street eh?

On topic, just keep in mind that you will likely want to get rid of all of your old cables too with your component tv, and whomever gets the TV will likely need them as well. I have a box of old cables that i have to go through from this exact situation...hmmm...old tvs eh...

My parents gave me the ol' 42" projection TV about a year ago. Even I don't want it. Takes up too much precious floor space in my room that can be used to throw dirty clothes on. I'll probably give it away for free once the snow clears out and I have enough extra money to buy a decent 32" LCD. Of course, the thing weighs 500 pounds and it's downstairs so wish me luck on getting it outside. Good luck getting rid of yours.
