I can haz waffles for dinner?
...Seriously.
Wife and I are in a 'breakfast for a late dinner' mood, and as a life long YYC'er, I can't think of anything beyond Denny's ( ).
CP - Your mission, should you have chosen to read this far, is to suggest where I can go tonight for some breakfast for dinner that isn't Denny's/Humpty's.
You have 20 minutes - GO!

Calgary needs some Waffle House action! Fried chicken and waffles! COTW needs to get on that boat.

I wish we even had an IHOP. Maybe it's the "grass is greener" thing, but when I am hankering for waffles/pancakes, IHOP is my "I wish".
I hear those rednecks up north have one now....

I guess all I have is Denny's and it's clones? I was hoping somewhere a little nicer served breaky all day. Ahh well, guess it's earls or the like for a normal dinner... P(

I think there's a waffle house on Crowchild just north of Glenmore.

But... not really waffles. And you can't really satisfy a waffle craving with anything but waffles.
My suggestion. Go to Safeway, buy waffle batter (or the ingredients to mix it). Buy waffle iron.
Make waffles any time you want.
Sadly, my wife has forbidden a waffle iron in our house - likely because if one did exist I would eventually be unable to get out of bed without a fork lift.

If the Belmont Diner is still around/open, they have the greatest breakfast in Calgary.

Haha, Mrs. Furnace said "I have a craving for waffles" this eve so out came the waffle iron and off we went. My vote is, make them at home.

Is this a euphimism for some type of straight-person bedroom activity of which I am not aware?
Does it involve syrup and/or blueberries

Yeah, leave it to the gay guy to never have indulged in the eating of blue waffle.

MY choice would be Humpty's or Phil's. Last time I looked there were 4 Phil's in the city.

Late to the party but whatever.
-The crepe place on near Crowchild & Glenmore.
-Nelly's
Also, for the IHOP discussion, way better than humptys. Misleading name however. If they're only in the US, it's hardly an international house now is it?
