Skype for Blackberry?

From what I understand with an iPhone, you can download skype and use wifi to talk via skype just like a regular phone, and thus not be charged for talk-time nor data. I just bought the BB Torch, and I assumed since it had wifi, I could do the same…however I can’t seem to find any application to support this.

Does anyone know if one exists? Or, if there is a similar program to skype I can put on my Blackberry and talk via wifi? I travel a bunch for work, so it would be nice to just talk on my cell phone rather than booting up my laptop all the time.

I am with Bell Mobility if it makes a difference...

The problem with the app, is it uses your networks data to connect the call and wont function on wifi, thus negating any real benefit of being abroad and using your phone to call home as you would get stung with international roaming fees.

What I want to do it just turn on my wifi connection and connect skype-to-skype., which is not supported by this. So I thought there may be another application out there that did this…

That won't work - Skype for Blackberrys only currently work with Verizon wireless.
