Salt Lake Saints from that list doesn't sound all that bad. But I think I read it's likely to be labelled a Utah team rather than Salt Lake.

I actually do have some empathy for the Fans in Phoenix. It really was a gong show of ownership groups and not much on ice success. The first few years are a bit like Atlanta where it was a team who could make the playoffs but not win any rounds. Except instead of moving out of the market they shifed locations within the metro area and eventually not having a very competitive team.

So for Fans that live there it does suck and I do hope they get a team with a better more stable owner one day.

Cheaper ripoff. C of Red is almost all jerseys. The Whiteout is t-shirts handed out at the game.

The owner, same as the Jazz, had fiddled around with the Jazz rebranding a few times, so I'm sure he has a pretty good idea of what he will call the team and it won't go out for public consultation.

Yeah. Doing the exact same thing that the fanbase had done for the franchise that you relocated and rebranded is ridiculous in my opinion.

I like Utah Storm, Utah Blizzard, Utah Bighorns (logo could be sick), Utah Rams, Utah Ice dogs/hounds, Utah Wolves or Utah Ice Raptors.

It's all about the logo though, a great logo can save a horrible name.
