What the hell is wrong with Reid? Down 9 you kick the field goal there. No such thing as a 9 point touch down.

I actually thought they blew the call, that was a TD. Reffing has been brutal this weekend. Reid should have challenged that.

Absolutely atrocious throw by Ben ends up in a TD.

3rd and 2 and of course Haley goes for an empty back field. Haley and Ben bailed out by sheer luck and Antonio Brown.

I really miss Bruce Arians. I guess we should ask the Chiefs fans here what they think of Haley. Battle of the bunglers between he and Reid.

Chargers look like they're going to beat the Raiders. Derek Carr rushing back for nothing.

Haley is a jack arse for sure. But he's 10 times better than the dolt who's run the Raiders offence into the ground!

Here is the explanation from the official on the field, Tony Corrente...

Quote:
"He lost the ball. It came out of his control as he was almost to the ground. Now he re-grasps the ball and, by rule, now he has to complete the process of a recovery, which means he has to survive the ground again."

Corrente said the ball came out "a second time" as one knee hit the ground, adding, "Now he's out of bounds in the end zone, which now created a touchback."
The NFL itself has explained it the same way and agrees it was the right call.

I dont get it myself. He most certainly wasnt out of bounds IN the end zone. If he was OOB it was at the 1. If it wasn't a completed catch, then call it that and none of this "he lost the ball twice" stuff and established himself as having possesion.

remarkably stupid ruling.

I really have no idea of how fans of just one team in one sport function. What if your team sucks for a decade? I have a favorite team in so many sports / always some of them doing well, some treadmilling and some doormats. Makes life a whole lot more interesting than clinging to one team!
