Pretty bad luck for Tulo. Off the 1B's foot, then off the edge of the base. He looked like he was in quite a bit of pain.

Christ sakes Osuna.
Just a terrible outing
Nothing like letting plugs like Revere and Pennington clean your clock.
Pathetic

Hope the Jays can lay wood to one of their other former teammates tomorrow when they face Jesse Chavez.
Hope being the key word here because expecting wins isn't that reasonable at this point. This team just isn't very good.

Well it looks like we'll get a nice long look at the new acquisition Refsnyder, sounds like Tulo has torn ligaments and is possibly done for the year.
Hopefully Gurriel keeps tearing up the minors and maybe he gets a taste this year too.
One of the biggest disappointments this year is guys like Gurriel and Alford getting hurt, as if the 5,686 injuries to the major league roster wasn't enough, but two of the top prospects that are closest to making the jump also suffer major injuries as well?
What a turd of a season.

watching the Jays play, there's just no emotion.
Angels are up 5 in the 9th, are stealing bases and taking big swings.
The Jays should start a fight. Not saying it's right but you're getting swept by a non-rival that you're not going to see again. Why not?

So the #BlueJays had two walk-off grand slams in their first 40 years of baseball. Now Steve Pearce hits two in a four-day span

Flipped it on, saw Pujols hit one out to make it 9 4. Cursed and turned it off. Just saw the final score and wtf?!?

Baseball is a funny game.

Did you have as good a week as Steve Pearce? Probably not. He hit his second walk-off grand slam of the week, beating the Angels 11-10 in improbable fashion. He's just the third player with two walk-off slams in one season, joining Jim Presley of the '86 Mariners and Cy Williams of the '26 Phillies. Baseball is the best.

If you actually look at the production that the Jays have gotten out of the Pearce/CaRrera platoon, it's actually been adequate.
Combined slash line of .283/.342/.453 with 18 homers and 51 RBI.
It's been the other parts of the lineup and the pitching that have been a bigger problem.

FYP. Because it's Zeke, not Miguel or Melky.

Well, when the two best pitchers in Estrada and Sanchez both are MIA this year, one due to injury, the other to falling off the face of the earth, your team is going to struggle. It doesn't matter what team you are, you are going to have a bad year because of that. If those two guys were playing and were as effective as last season, the Jays are probably a game or two out of the wild card or division, even with all the other assorted bs that's gone on.
With the Jays likely selling off certain things, it'll be a good thing moving forward as they can replace the things they trade off in other ways. Just frustrating that this all had to happen in the first place.

#BlueJays and #Astros deal for Francisco Liriano is pending a physical. Sounds like an outfielder in coming back in return
