Quinn Hughes second period power play has stood up as the lone goal so far, 1-0 Canucks midway through the third period. It has been an easy night so far for the Canucks back goalie, just eleven shots. The shutout watch is on.
The Kings cruise to a 5-2 victory.

Looking at it again, this is what they posted:
Against top 5 teams: 4-6-1
Against 6-10 teams: 3-3-2
Against 11-15 teams: 7-6-1
So against the top 15 teams (i.e. the other playoff teams) they are : 14-15-4
Against the 16-27 teams: 21-6-1
Against bottom 5 teams: 10-2-0
So against non-playoff teams they are: 31-8-1

If Oettinger can keep playing like this, Dallas will go a long way. Best he's looked since that series vs the Flames in this recent stretch.

The Canucks winning is good. I want Edmonton to have to play Vegas, with Stone and Hertl returning for game 1.
I don't think the Kings could beat the Oilers.

That team is going to be ridiculous. Wouldn't want to be facing them.

Have not heard any updates yet on this… Like everyone else, I am assuming both of them will be ready for game 1. Is there any hints at this point to suggest that is likely besides the obvious fact that it’s Vegas? Are either of them practicing with the team yet?

Hertl is already practicing in a non-contact jersey. He will be back in the next few games.

Agreed. I also think it helps with the insurance teams of Dallas, Colorado and even Vancouver… each of them have “easier” opponents IMO in the first round with the way the standings sit today. I think any of those teams will beat the oilers in a series right now. The ones I have my doubts with are LA, Nashville and Winnipeg.

Does any broadcast team go on and on about penalties they they think the refs missed than Monster truck and his sidekick? They were still talking about one from the first period well into the second. (Plus someone should explain to M. Truck that repeatedly mentioning the shutout as a jinx to break it doesn't work when you're the opponent's mouthpiece)

Just noticed in the Kings scoring summary, Moore scored a hat trick and Dubois assisted on all of them!
