I use the jar garlic sometimes when I am doing something where I'm not cutting anything, I'm too lazy to just chop garlic. I just use more.. well I usually use more than the recipe calls for, so maybe a LOT more.
If there's a too much garlic line I haven't found it yet.

Theres freeze dried garlic available, i use it mainly for sauces. Not over powering, and still...garlicky enough.
But for when i need or use fresh, i slice and dice it.
Big Island had the nastiest people imo. Lots of poverty. It's where they send the waitresses once they aren't hot anymore. Tons of drugged out freakazoids. The black volcanic landscape gets really old and lame after, like, a day. I like my Hawaiian vacations to be way more lush.
There is cool stuff like some big waterfall, the burbling volcano thing with some old volcano tubes you can walk through, but really, the nasty people really fk it up. Probably a lot cheaper to just walk around some inner city lrt stations...similar vibe.

Up to the last sentence, I still thought that was going to somehow tie back into the garlic discussion.
Fun fact - Canadian Tire also sells the chain mail scrubbers, though a bit more expensive than Lee Valley. They seem to keep them stocked by either the cleaning supplies or cast iron pans.

Knifewear has a better version that has smaller rings to really get into the tight areas. The rings have no seams to avoid scratches. $20 and readily available.
Time for a new couch, any furniture stores to check out or avoid? Went to the big show room place at Northhill, some decent options there but want to shop around a bit.

Hah, I do have a cat but she learns quick. Most of the time. Definitely not interested in Brick stuff, will take a look at some of the others, thanks! I see Costco has couches, but would maybe like to try them first...
