This is a photo of an art exhibit that was on the boarder of a construction project in downtown Calgary. It was called reflections and I really liked it. I am really posting it as a test for re-sizing.
I should have cropped the paper out on the right. Hopefully the off centerness and paper on the right aren't too distracting. I hope you don't mind these first rough post. Hopefully I can get more refined as I go.

Anyone brave enough to post originals before lightrooming the hell out of them for comparison?
(I know I'm not)

From Airdrie tonight (NYE). Unfortunately I bombed most of it trying some different techniques that didn't work and it ended suddenly.. This was actually the first frame of the show, too, and was one of the longer exposures.

Great shots! I love the hiking in and around Phoenix. Do you take your dogs down when you go or do they stay in YYC?

Dogs and cats stay at their home southwest of Calgary with a relative staying with them. We were gone only two weeks.
Some day, over the rainbow, when I retire, we would likely take whatever brood we have with us as we would probably be down there for months at a time.
We have two 13 year old cats, a 12 year old cat and an 11 year old cat plus dogs four and three years old . . . . so our brood is likely to be reduced through the next few years.

West of Chain Lakes, the summit of the Petro Canada road . . . . . best to have a four wheel drive for that at this time of year. One side of the road is a climb up to the Hailstone Butte firewatch station. The other side of the road is where we were walking. You can find it in that series of four books I mentioned in the other thread. FYI its about 7,000 or more feet.
