Honestly I was surprised to see so many penalties. Still, most of those are always called, like the 2 high stickings. Also the sharks still had 4 called on them, so it wasnt that lopsided

Pavelski did well to get him hot under the collar. Clearly a strategy and it worked. Soon as McDavid got involved emotionally in the shenanigans, he turned into World Cup McDavid.

Well coached game from San Jose. Experience matters, clearly.

They gave Talbot the first star for saving 41 shots and being the losing goaltender. Karlsson was the second star for scoring the OT winner. What a joke. Like giving out participation points for the effort.

Oilers are no good.

Guys, it was clearly the refs' fault. If those zebras hadn't been sending wicked clappers at the net all night the Oil wouldn't have been outshot by a more than 2-1 margin, obviously.

It's almost like the three stars are a meaningless thing that's done for the fans.

CHED 630, first pre-pubescent postgame caller blames the refs.

I'm pretty sure there are tour agencies in Edmonton planning trips to Vancouver for a lottery draw party. The crack is too addictive.

Haha stupid Oilers. Nice defence on the game winner. Looks like they were dominated and the only reasons for a close game were Talbot and a lucky first goal.

Like a 20 year old.... Oilers were all excited out of the gate... and couldn't last. Game over. Oilers please keep Gryba out there- big, dumb, undisciplined turnover machine.

Hahahah oh my god I think Gryba got lost thinking the broken stick blade was the puck, putting him way out of position.

That was the most satisfying Oilers loss since June 19, 2006.

Didn't get a chance to watch the game. Was McDavid shut down?
