Tij with another goal in today’s game.
Eiserman is also lighting it up and has another goal. I think Eiserman is proving he is the goal scorer that everyone projects him to be. I hope he is taken before Tij.

Question is, if Tij is gone and he's available does Conroy have the balls to take him?
For me it's a hard no, grew up in an upper class coastal city, going to hometown BU after snubbing the UofM and has the "I'm the man so I don't have to work hard" attitude.
Biggest risk in the draft for any Canadian team, one way or the other you just know he'll end up with Fox in NY or possibly Boston.

Eiserman is a tough one because he possess amazing goal scoring ability.
But he also doesn't elevate the play of anyone around him and is as one-dimensional as it comes.

Probably more of a fit on an established, good team that has strong culture and veteran leadership. I like the talent but he's a little too risky for the Flames.

So Eiserman is 700 goals and 1300 points if he goes to the right team?

Steve was a bit more of the Robbie Schremp, 600 goal, 700 assist ratio..well 700 to 1100 if you allow for some rounding.

If there is an option to draft smaller C or bigger winger with same skill and IQ I would choose bigger winger as it is look like big players has more impact in the playoffs.

he is one of the youngest players in the draft, just barely eligible for this year. He has a longer runway

If you think Tij is having a nice tourney, McKenna has 5 points in this game and is two points away from tying the Canadian record of 15 points at the U18's

Hagens with 3+3 today for 7+9 through 4 games..
He has a real shot at the tournament record set by Kucherov at 21.
Pretty ridiculous what Mckenna is doing it at 16 though.

Have been watching the U18 tournament. You can definitely see why Iginla is looking like such a solid prospect. His shot, his hands, his skating and his hockey sense are all fantastic.

Their draft availability is lining up with the Flames current draft trajectory over the next few seasons.

Pretty nice that we are very likely drafting top 10 next year. And that we own an unprotected '26 1st, along with our own.
Hilarious that some people thought Conroy got owned in that trade.
