I was listening to this yesterday, and you kinda need the context of his entire time on the stand before this to really really see what's going on. James Bauder was playing for sympathy, talking about love, the bearhug, and on and on. He'd break down occasionally crying, and was really all over the place, but in general putting out the appearance that he's a harmless good guy. That is not who he is. This is really my favourite bit out of the hearings, because the government lawyer(I think? Maybe Ottawa) took an opening from the opposition and went back up to see if he could break the facade and show him for the bigot he is. Watching these idiots get dummied on the stand is a bit like watching Better Call Saul. They don't stand a chance, and you can see when they are about to get humiliated, but they have no clue! So good.

This morning one of the protestors basically was forced to admit she couldn't deal with the protest in front of her own house with her own kids.

My wife know a sister-in-law of one of the three guys from Lethbridge who were in court yesterday... Those three guys are suing the government for lost wages during their time at the Coutts border. They're saying they would not have had to protest if the government would have done their jobs.

I'd just like to take a moment to acknowledge all the selfish righteous mother####ers who spent 2 years soaking up misinformation, shutting down Ottawa, our borders, and generally being giant dicks to society, for their contributions. We now have governments so terrified(or in our case, pants on head stupid-thanks again for that too) that they won't do what every intelligent health expert is recommending and that even they won't "listen to the experts" for fear they'll have to put up with another round of chaos from the zero IQ brigade.

The result of this is that children are dying unnecessarily, our healthcare system continues to be slammed, and we won't use any tools we have to get through the worst of it. Politicians tremble while they put out milquetoast statements like "make the choice to stay up to date on your vaccinations" and "wearing a well-fitting, high-quality mask can help reduce the risk of becoming sick and help protect others from being exposed. Albertans should be supported regardless of their choice to mask or not." Have some ####ing conviction. So thank a lot mother####ers, enjoy another mound of deaths pilled on your souls. You did it. Congrats.
