LA is dead. 6 points with 11 games left is too much ground to make up. Unless the Blues or Preds absolutely crater the 10 game point ranges are too close. Nothing about the Kings says this is a team capable of a 9-2 run.

Ha ha stupid Bishop. Thought he'd be getting 7 million a year for 7 years last June. Now he's the next Jim Carey. Better luck in your next life.

Brought my dad to the game and I was a little worried because every other time he's been to a game the Flames have lost. He was pretty excited to see a Flames win!

In the GT, some CPer's said it might have been a shoulder, not an elbow. Has that pretty much been ruled out? The lone camera angle I've seen doesn't rule out a shoulder.

Would that even make a difference in the eyes of the player safety department?

The Blues cratering the rest of their schedule enters 'blow it up' territory.

Really impressive game by the flames. I feel like monahan's game has come a long way this year. imo he's showing more of the 2 way game he was famed for in junior. gaudreau really gets up for the big games. he was flying all night. our top 4 d all played really well.

Thought chiaisson had an excellent game too

Iggy talking to Will Nault on Fan 960 after the game.....trying to stay positive, but can hear the dejection in his voice too.

Was a pretty dirty elbow.

But if you can do that without getting caught it's a pretty good way to get guys off their game. Doughty was pretty bad the 2nd 2 periods imo. But I wouldn't be surprised to see guys taking runs at flames players next time
They play as the kings will be out of it (they already are IMO).

I don't feel bad for Doughty. I don't feel bad for Iggy. LA can suck it. The Flames are going to the playoffs and they're going to make some noise. It's their time. GFG!

I'm happy to see Gio getting rewarded on the scoresheet these last few games. After a tough start to the season with many questioning his leadership, he's gone out and has been a force that has really fuelled this team's resurgence.

Last 15 games:

6 G
6 A
12 pts
+14

Maybe not Norris-Gio but I'll take Beast-mode Gio every day of the week.

Just noticed the Flames accomplished.something with this win that the Oilers haven't done since Gretzky was on their team. The Flames got win #41 and thus have won half the games on their schedule.

It's unlikely I know but if SJ lays an egg against Dallas we will be 5 points back of them with 10 games remaining while playing them twice ... unreal

I have a hard believing he didn't ask to go to a better team. I dont think anyone wanted him.

Doughty seems fine with the way Tkachuk plays and that they both play that way, but more upset that Tkachuk hurt him.
