On another note, Kadri had a ####ing rough night out there. Took 3 penalties, was not great defensively, was ineffective in the offensive zone, and showed no chemistry with his linemates. One he would love to forget.
Seems like ever since he lost his 2 kids, he just tries to do too much all by himself.

Soo Vegas is still plummeting.

Could the Flames overtake them? (albeit to the demise of our pick)

The line didn't do much after Pospisil went down vs the Leafs, for the games he was out.
Kadri does feel it appears that he thinks he has to do it all, be physical and create chances, and ends up doing neither well.
Was the case most of last year. With a physica gritl player and a skilled player that he has chemistry with and trusts in Zary and Pospsil, he can focus on doing what he does, well, which is a mix of skill and grit.

A lot of people said it was only Sutter that got the team close to the playoffs last season.

Well here we are with a patchwork defence and Lindholm gone and in the exact same spot as last lesson.

I think Huska is doing a good job so far.

Great win by the Flames tonight. Brilliant psychological games by Conroy to make Tampa think they'd have Hanifin tonight, only to send his ass back across the Continent to Vegas and confuse the Lightning. Hopefully the Lightning miss the playoffs and this game is a big reason why.

Elias Lindholm was my favorite Flame. After tonight's post game interview, Yegor Sharangovich now has this highly decorated mantle as my favorite Flame.

Same. As soon as I heard that pass, I knew I'd have to dig up a highlight of it. Amazing.

Considering what the team has gone through in the last week, tonight’s game might have been the most impressive of the season.
