My dad used to eat had cheese a lot. I can't think of any more vile thing I've ever seen in my life than that gelatinous evil

I like brussel sprouts a lot, have them 2-3 times a week.
Also like those little tins of smoked oysters, delicious.

Yum.

At a certain point you're kind of defeating the purpose of Kraft Dinner, which is mac and cheese ready in 9 minutes -- if you're putting in this much effort then maybe you might as well just use regular noodles and make a real cheese sauce too.

my first thought is I thought most guys loved Vag, and didn't find it distasteful to eat.
sorry. Juvenile, but that's where my mind went.

Are brussel sprouts any more distasteful than a lot of vegetables? I don't eat them weekly but they are decent thrown in the oven with a bit of vegetable oil, garlic, seasoning, and bacon pieces.

Brussel sprouts used to be more bitter but they changed when the bitter compound was identified and versions with lower amounts of it were bred.
Brussel sprouts are one of my favourites now, I could eat them roasted like candy.
I never thought but appears Arby's is another distasteful thing I'll have once in a while. Beef & Swiss with curly fries and Arby's sauce. But that's about the only thing I like, everything else I've tried I regretted.

I love Brussel sprouts and never understood the disdain for them. But then we ordered Thanksgiving dinner from Sunterra and the sprouts were very crunchy and I thought "wait, is this how people eat them here? If that's the case, I can see why they're disliked"
We grew up having them boiled first to make them soft and then roasted for a little bit of crispness on the outside. How do Canadians normally have them?

Oh man. I love the Arby's basic beef sandwich. The one with the most beef on it.
Overall, I love all of their items really. I've even had the meat mountain. Which is basically an Arby's sandwich with all of their offering thrown on top.

Tossed in olive oil, seasoned with herbamare (or salt and Mrs Dash), roasted until slightly crisp. Mwah.

Seemed like everyone (at least used to) hate brussels, good to see they are getting more popular.

The reason people hate brussels sprouts less nowadays is because they've been bred to taste less bitter than they used to.

Well plus many restaurants serve brussels sprouts cooked in brown sugar or molasses. It's almost a dessert.

I hated brussel sprouts up until quite recently, and if I ever eat them boiled I still hate them. You gotta roast the #### out of them, develop some real dark caramelization.

Sapporo Ichiban, it's never not in my cupboard. At one point back in the day a cashier dubbed me the "Ichiban Man" cuz they saw me buying it so many times in there.

Since moving to work from home, I eat a lot of ramen, but I gussy it up with things like soft boiled eggs, veg, and dumplings.

I used to love Sapporo Ichiban, but lots of carbs. I don't have instant ramen much anymore but I usually keep some of the Chef Woo ramen they have at Safeway around for emergencies.
