Wow once Osuna found the zone he was lights out. That's a closer.

In the Sin Bin
Starts 'em 3-0 just to give a false sense of hope, then pure domination.

Osuna deserves this kind of closer music when he comes into the game

So after the game Josh Thole was optioned to the minors to make room for Hutch to return to 25 man roster. And when I say the minors, I mean Rookie-class minor league. Below single A.
This way he can be recalled in time for Dickeys next start on Sept 2.

Players have to wait 10 days before be called back up unless a season ends, then they can return. He wouldn't be able to catch Dickey on the 2nd if he was sent to Buffalo.

Just finished watching on PVR. Man was Osuna's close out a powerful thing of beauty. Great ending. Wish I was at the game.

Not fair. EE does it again, 3 run shot, 3-0 Jays.

Smoak hurt? Looked like he banged up his knee going into 2nd.

Does anyone else feel like the camera is cutting back to the pitch too late these past two games?
It seemed fine before, but today and yesterday they seem to keep trying to squeeze in an extra replay on some pitches, including that EE homerun where the bluejays graphic was covering EE hitting the homerun.

What the heck was Smoak doing there? Ball was hit right to the SS, what a strange choice to run. Maybe he just wants to get off the field.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's done for this game. I hope not, but he was really favouring it in the dugout.

A couple of really poor choices there to end the inning. Let him off the hook.
