Providence returned to #3 in both of the major College ranking polls this week (receiving one #1 vote in the USA Today poll). Boston College and Yale remained at #7 and #9 respectively in both polls.

Olivier Roy will never amount to anything. He is a throw in. Being dissapointed with his results is like being dissapointed when your baby poops in its diaper.

Yeah, I doubt very much if Roy is re-signed either. The thing is Ramo is the only goalie signed for next season. I expect RFAs Berra and Ortio will be re-signed with Ortio given a chance with the Flames. If Gillies signs, that gives us 4 goalies in the system. We may sign or trade for another vet, either to play for the big club or as a fill in, in the minors.

It's the ECHL and the Aces are a good team. Granted there isn't much sample size, but for comparison:
Laurent Brossoit: 2-0-0 with 2 shutouts
Joni Ortio: 3-1-0, 0.944 SV% and a 1.01 GAA
Mark Guggenberger: 5-1-0, 0.903 SV% and 2.21 GAA

Boston College playing right now, Eagles up 1-0 in the first.
Johnny with the primary assist and Billy with the secondary
I've posted the audio links and preview in the Gaudreau thread... but since Arnold is on Boston College too I figured we could discuss here if anyone else is listening tonight.

I want to see Gaudreau average a goal a game this year. Has that happen before?

He got close. 40 goals in college is rare player.. I'm having trouble finding one in the last 15 years.
59—Mike donnelly, Michigan st., 1986 That must have been more than a goal a game.

Nothing for Poirier in the Super Series so far. Mantha and Drouin are dominating as expected.
