Then you're probably not that bright to begin with. Yes, there is a correct time & place for that sort of thing (teens, early 20's), but I find most 'grown-ups' who continue to use drugs are generally lacking in the intelligence and maturity departments. To each their own, I guess, but I'd find it rather embarrassing having to ask advice about drug tests, anonymously or otherwise. If you've got a career or a job you can't afford to lose, why would you ever risk it? 'Cause someone was passing a bong at a house party and it was uncool to say 'no'?

Does alcohol count? I know plenty of people above the age of 25 that drink.

Easy there Beaver boy, that's a pretty sweeping generalization.
If what you say is true about how much you smoked, do your best to sweat it out by getting some exercise over the next few days. If you have to take a piss test make sure you don't work out the day before/of the test and drink a little more water than you normally do.
*I do not guarantee this will work for you, ymmv

Those kits don't work, they are detected by the tests now. I believe they call them adulterants. The OP should be fine after a week, but it depends on the quality of the test.

You truly have no clue if you believe that. There are many successful & intelligent people on this planet that have done and/or do drugs way past their mid-20's.
I'm guessing you don't drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes?

Seems to me the wise thing to do, if your job calls for you to be drug-free, would be to avoid drugs....
It's a new job offer I have received, so they had phoned me out of the blue today, and asked me to do a drug test this afternoon. Regardless, I passed so it's all good.

That's a pretty narrow minded statement to make, considering it was one bong hit of marijuana smoke. I know of quite a few successful people who occasionally toke. Then again, I know of people who have virtually ruined their life with alcohol (DUI, assault convictions, divorce, etc.). Many of these people are in their 40's and 50's, nevermind their late 20's.

Carl Sagan to name one. The list is lengthy of those who are open about it. Let's not forget we are talking about an herb that grows from the ground and has never killed anyone, ever.
When I was a boilermaker, I was more concerned with the guys coming to work drunk and drinking on the job, then I was worried about the guys smoking up.
Is alcohol illegal? Because really that is the only reason there is drug testing.
Typical drug testing involves an alcohol test as well. At least for the oil field it does. Legality isn't the point. I was responding to DHC about how drugs are for "people in their early twenties" and that use beyond that was done by people "generally lacking in the intelligence and maturity departments" which is a pretty hollow accusation.
