I recently returned from a 17 day job on St.Patrick's Day. When I returned, my GF invited me to a house party. A bong was passed around, and I did one bong hit, since I rarely ever smoke pot anymore (let alone drink).
It's been 6 days since then, and I was wondering if that little consumption of marijuana would show up on a drug test? I was told by a pharmacist years ago that if you smoked a whole gram, but were not a chronic user, the average time it takes to clear your system would be 7-10 days max.
Is anyone on CP an expert on this? I know probably some of you work in the oil and gas industry so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Fact: The only way to flush marijuana from your system is to do massive qunatities of cocaine.
Then to get the coke out of your system, all you have to do is shoot a bunch of heroine. That might sound like a problem, but a few hits of meth will clear your blood work right up.

Don't worry about the drug test, one look at your avatar and your employers will say "You're a Jets fan? What are you high?"
Just go to a bong shop and buy a p1ss kit. Its less than $20.
If it was one pull you should be fine in 3-5 days.
If you use daily and thin could be two weeks.
If you use daily and fat 14-22 days.
Those kits don't work, they are detected by the tests now. I believe they call them adulterants. The OP should be fine after a week, but it depends on the quality of the test.
Humour me - are you in an industry where you knew you might have to take a drug test? Or we're you planning on getting a new job where it might be a possibility?

Then you're probably not that bright to begin with. Yes, there is a correct time & place for that sort of thing (teens, early 20's), but I find most 'grown-ups' who continue to use drugs are generally lacking in the intelligence and maturity departments. To each their own, I guess, but I'd find it rather embarrassing having to ask advice about drug tests, anonymously or otherwise. If you've got a career or a job you can't afford to lose, why would you ever risk it? 'Cause someone was passing a bong at a house party and it was uncool to say 'no'?
