FEAR were one of the gnarliest punk bands back in the day. They were infamously banned from playing SNL after their performance, which was at the invitation of John Belushi.
They’re still performing, although the lead singer, Lee Ving, is now 73 with health issues. He looks more like a kindly old man now.
I am loathe to post a video like this because it could be construed as a "noble savage" type of thing. However, I think this is the type of video social media was made for. It indicates the universal nature of human experience, love of music, and poetic interpretation of experience. I found new meaning in this song after watching this video, and I hope you stick around for the very end, because that man moved me so much.
Watch, as tribal people (whatever that means) watch Pearl Jam's "Black" and feel just as much about it as you or I ever did, maybe more.

Contained herein is all the musical material one would ever need to score (or rescore) ANY TV show, movie, commercial/radio spot, theatre production, dance production, figure skating/ballet/gymnastics, all of it.

EDIT: Wait, it's a kids movie, so a bunch of kids will be listening to Tenacious D.. I can only think of one song of theirs that ISN'T laced with profanity.

Not new but i've just discovered them: Alabama Shakes. I went down the rabbit hole and I don't like some of their music but I think I need to check out more. You almost need to watch to feel it!

Unbelievable.... I haven't posted in this thread in years... perhaps forever, and I decided to come in here and drop some FEAR and see you just did.
With world events in the state they are currently in, "Let's have a war." has definitely been relevant and top of mind for me. It's pretty on the nose TODAY for a 42 year old song. They just don't make 'em like this anymore. Love it or hate it 70's/80's Punk was as raw as it gets and the real deal.
