I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but the current Coke commercial.
The beginning is fine, even good. Close ups of the cold fizzy drink. Almost mouth watering.
The girl stealing it, stupid and cliche, but still fine. It's a soft drink trope used forever.
It's that f-ing stupid puppydog look and throat swallow the guy gives her. Like his life depended on that drink. But in a totally non convincing or humourous way.
Wanna smack that guy. And the writers of the commercial.

I mean why didn't he buy two drinks? He is that cheap that he couldn't afford a second Coke for the cute girl he brought to the restaurant? Did he plan on drinking the Coke in front of her? That's rude.

I always saw it the opposite way. Dude was probably going to share a coke with her and she grabs it, downs it, and then makes a loud "ahhh" afterward. I would dump that bitch right then and there.
For some reason, Swiss Chalet has started using the slogan "Nothing Else is Swiss".
It's possibly one of the worst slogans for any product or business I've ever heard. Everytime I hear it, I don't think, "Oh, yeah I like their chicken." I think, "What are you talking about? Lots of things are Swiss. Lots of things I could go to the store and buy right now... Chocolate, cheese, watches, knives..."
A good slogan doesn't make people automatically think about things other than your own product.

Has anyone seen the new Trivago ads?!? Guy is wearing a suit, clean shaven, looks quite sharp and professional. Definitely looks like Trivago listened to the comments that are out there... I find it quite humourous actually.
I so wanted to hate the made-over Trivago guy. But I don't. Not quite.
If I was trying to unwind in the hotel bar after a long day of meetings and he oozed on over, I'd probably hold back from sticking a knee in his kidneys for it.
Every single Telus spot for the last 20+ years.
Horribad...I don't know how the advertising company they've hired has managed to keep the contract. Irritating beyond all comparison.
Hippos, Monkeys, Lemurs...whatever is trendy. FML.

First of all, Bud Light did the whole "cool dude that brings the party and all the girls are checking out" angle years with a dog named Spuds Mackenzie (and he rules).
So that guy is basically a ripoff of a spokesdog.
Secondly, he comes into the bar, orders a drink, turns on the magic, and then puts his jacket on and starts walking towards the door. It doesn't even make sense.
I can't stand that commercial!

I always saw it a third way. Dude was going to share his c*** with her and she grabs it, downs it, and makes a loud "ahh" afterward. I would have plowed that bitch right then and there.
That Captain Morgan commercial where they're playing ball hockey in the driveway and buddy hits the ball to the doorbell.
That cocky look on his face screams punch me.

UGH that one pisses me off. Why does he look at the camera like I said he couldn't do it or something.
that Chevy Colorado ad where they have the two photos of the same guy in front of the truck or the car. What's the message - get a truck to impress kids???

I hate those as well, but that one kid with the Demi Moore voice that says "maybe like some birds..." makes me laugh every time.
Real people my ass
