It could be anybody or everybody. Russians are very direct and they don't mince too many words. With a guy like Z, he is very very direct and hockey is more of the button down sport.

He made a lot of comments regarding the Russian war in Ukraine but he also lives in Florida and doesn't plan on going back to Russia anytime soon.

He took part in the Flames Pride jersey night and called out the team earlier this season when they were playing like crap. He has called out Nathan Mackinnon in a joking way about his diet and fitness extremes and more. He considers himself the best dressed player in the NHL and has no problem in essence telling others they are white trash wearing sneakers with suits.

I can see after a few drinks and comments all the above guys would want to actually go with him. I love the guy's passion and confidence and am happy he was a solid Flame in his time here.

People don’t like to see the best team win, that’s why all these leagues have tournaments at the end of the season that people will pay large amounts of money to watch. Then whoever does win gets attributed with a bunch of unquantifiable intangibles as the reason why they won.

League just makes more money, is all. Baseball used to have the AL and NL champions play for the World Series with no interleague play. Fair. Now there’s wildcards and off days and only 3 pitchers matter; the total opposite of the real season.

People love tournaments.

I get people who hate both teams but having it go 7 just makes it worse for them.

I would have rather this series end quick with Vancouver winning and then have them lose quick in the Western Finals.
