Dallas must be salivating at the thought of either of these teams advancing. Whoever wins is gonna get eaten alive. Dallas’ relentless forecheck against Edmonton’s swiss cheese D and sub-par goaltending should be fun to watch.

From the hockey news:

Despite the lopsided score, the analytics were close in Game 6. Vancouver lost the even-strength scoring chances battle by a count of 21-18 while also falling 8-7 when it came to high-danger scoring chances. While the Canucks came up short in most categories, they did win the xGF% battle, finishing the night at 50.56% thanks to an xGF of 2.18.

That’s funny. What I thought I saw was the canucks playing like complete garbage.

No wonder oiler fans hate the hockey news.

They look deep enough that it negates their kool aid narratives.

You'd have to think he's done for the playoffs, whether that's one game or they move onto the next round. Even if they make it to game 7 of the final round I would doubt he would be medically cleared to play.

But I'm no doctor, and I've never played one on TV so, what do I know?

Does anyone like the hockey news anymore? I remember it was great back in the day but just seems terrible now. I’m not questioning the analysis simply because I’m too lazy just commenting on how bad they are.

Win it for Boeser.

and all of us here.

A fine job Tocchet has done this season , after his hiring last year received a load of skepticism.

Get er done !

A team looks pretty good when they shoot the puck and it goes in.

And vice versa.

The Canucks got terrible goaltending.

That’s why you look at the analytics. It factors in shot quality, missed shots and blocked shots as well. And Vancouver generated close to what Edmonton did apparently. The eye test focuses entirely on pucks that go in.

I have seen some comments from Oilers fans online about Boeser. Saying that every team gets bad luck and that McDavid is injured too.

These guys are really comparing some bumps and bruises to a blood cot. They really are the most unlikable fanbase in the league.

Well today is either the best day of the season so far, or easily the worst.
