If they put 30 shots on goal, they'll win.

We are one game away from an absolute nightmare.
I get that Dallas is better on paper. But people are acting like it would be an easy series for them.
This is the NHL playoffs, if a team gets hot or goaltender gets hot at the right time any underdog can win. The Oilers and Canucks could both definitely beat the Stars, no matter how much we want to deny it. It is in the realm of possibilities.
Which means the Canucks need to win Monday.

Anyone have an approximate idea of how much revenue comes in from a game 7 in the playoffs , such as the one upcoming in Vancouver ?

They used to say a million a home date a decade or so back but I haven't seen anythingrecentlty probably way more now with inflation.
Really disappointing showing from the canucks with the oilers on the ropes. Hoping they will show up in game 7 but expecting a loss and to have to endure the grease and their fans for a couple more weeks

Oettinger pees on Skinner from his high up place among elite goaltenders.
Georgiev put up a herculean performance against him in game 6, with a .947. But in the end it STILL wasn't enough as he was bested by Oettinger who posted a .967 to eliminate the Avs.
.790 Skinner could get hot and he still wouldn't be in JO's league.
The insecurity here is funny.

Yes, Oettinger is better. But he is still capable of having bad stretches.
I just don't know that Dallas will sweep either team with ease. This is playoff hockey, there is no such thing as a lock to win. Especially with Pissy playing possessed and the ref factor.

They might not sweep either team, but they'll beat them handily enough that no one on the other side will come away thinking they had a realistic shot.
You don't need to sweep a team to leave that resounding impression.

Everyone is capable of having bad stretches but this is someone who just went into Colorado 3 times, won all the games, and posted a 0.xx GAA.

Dalllas overcoming the 0-2 hole at home to Vegas then blanking Colorado in their barn tells me whichever group of dweebs comes out of the pacific peewee bracket certainly doesn't stand much of a chance, barring unforeseen injuries.

My point is just any team can beat any team. There is a lot of parody.
Yes, the Stars have the better depth and goaltending and coaching. But McPissy are able to win games themselves if you give them enough pps.
Underdog teams win all the time. Usually they need goaltending to do that, but it is in the realm of possibilities that either the Canucks or Oilers could beat the Stars.

Yep, and they just did the last one without their 1C (Hintz).

Certainly, you're right. I just don't see them being scared of these teams when they just beat Las Vegas and Colorado, both of whom I would say have far fewer weaknesses on their teams than these two.

They've also done this while pretty much playing 5 D in the playoffs since Hakanpaa got hurt, but even he might come back as he made the Game 6 trip to Denver.
Lundkvist was playing around 5 minutes a game and they put Petrovic in last game who finally had to play since the OT was going on too long.

Fork both of these ####ty franchises. Forever.

Please just give it up. Your whole stchtick is that you're better than everyone because your memory is amazing and you hate the Canucks as much as the Oilers.
99.9% of Flames fans are cheering against the Oilers. You're the .1%.
ABE. Canucks suck and Oilers suck but gun to the head any Flames fan should pick the Canucks to win in a H2H matchup.

Leafs vs Canadiens...who are the Senator fans cheering for? They'll be cheering against Toronto. It's common sense.

Depends if they grew up in Quebec and had to deal with Canadiens fans talking trash every day; people have different life experiences.

I just base if off of the players and fans.
The fans from Edmonton keep calling themselves the favorite to win the cup every year. And are very entitled. Canucks fans are more or less just happy to be in the playoffs.
For players does anyone truly dislike Hughes, Petterson, Boeser, Lindholm? I can possibly see people not liking JT Miller with his attitude.
But then the Oilers have the entitled McPissy duo who never give the opponent credit. They also have Kane, Perry, Nurse and all of those players combined just make who to cheer against a no brainer.

Yeah Edmonton hasn't played a good team in these playoffs. Not overly concerned. They look terrible against a terrible looking Vancouver team.
