Even if there's were multiple picks involved, the priority for winning the next round for Dallas is to save Flames fans and most fans of Canadian teams sanity in preventing one of the two Canadian teams left from advancing.

I'll just clarify that if the Stars get to the Stanley cup final this year, the Flames get an extra 3rd round pick in 2026. I'm cheering for Dallas until they make the final and for the Canucks to upgrade a pick and off the disgusting Oilers. Any Flames fan hoping for an Oilers win over the Nucks isn't a true fan simply because of that upgraded pick.

He was in and out of the lineup for the Canucks in 2011 but there for the playoffs.
