When Dumbbell Nurse getting paid $9.5M, B-Orr-chard should get paid at least $1M to 1.5M more.

Puts the Oilers in a rough spot, I mean his contract is up the same time as Draisaitl,
Bouchard's agent would be stupid not to ask for number 1 pairing dollars with his offensive numbers at about 8 to 8.5. Draisaitl would be nuts not to start at what is going to be the league maximum at what 16 and then give a discount to 14.
Either way the Oilers won't be able to afford both of them unless they find a taker for Hopkins and or Nurse with no retention.
I mean if the Oilers don't get to the finals, they have to make changes right, I mean their window is closing.

Getting paid for non McDavid-adjusted totals is hilarious.
When McD bolts to Toronto in 2 off-seasons these contracts will look atrocious.

Hopefully it's like Nurse when they leaked $7M so $6M wouldn't seem terrible, but they're so stupid they didn't realize how it worked and went the other way and gave him $9M+.
