Well we are sure you are aware by now that political parties will be a reality in the Calgary municipal election.


For those of you unfamiliar, Alberta United / Calgary United is a new entity that arose from a need to unite conservatives at the municipal level of government. This is not in competition to the United Conservative Party (UCP) provincially or the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) federally, as we support both Premier Danielle Smith and future Prime Minister Pierre Poillieve.# Simply put, we are a municipal version of these parties and our only focus is Councils and School Boards throughout Alberta. It is our mission to make sure that we elect people with conservative values at these levels.


We have founded our Ward 11 board and we would like to invite you to meet with us and find out how we can change City Hall together.


Please join us for more information and to get involved in the new Party for Calgary.

I stumbled upon their FB group by chance while looking to see if there was any head exploding over the zoning changes. I would have to concur that it is a clown show. Nobody is playing with a full deck of cards in there. Basically a club of simpletons trying to look important.

This is going to be an absolute ####ing disaster of an election. It's too bad voters are gonna get rolled on this, when they should be rejecting it outright. Why are all of these mother####ing conservatives so goddamn power hungry? Why must they control everything, and every facet of our lives? Why can't people see through and reject this?

The Sane Alberta Conservative may be even more elusive than Bigfoot these days. I think they are all but extinct, now.

Part of me wants to see a full Chandler-esque slate win. That way the world can finally see these chuds are way in over their heads and have no idea how to actually govern a first-class city appropriately and with tact, intellect, and foresight. They would be buried into oblivion and would likely get people to either recall at least half of them and/or put pressure on Marlaina to realize that political parties at the municipal level create chaos that nobody wanted in the first place.
