Does the Hockey News have any actual credibility anymore though?

Do you have any credible criticism of the two articles?

Unrelated, but apparently Knoblauch is splitting up McDavid and Draisaitl to try to get someone else going besides one line. Obviously take the under on how long that lasts for but actually it seems like a poor strategy when one of the defensemen who has been primarily employed to defend that line at 5v5 is suspended for a game - wouldn't you want to keep that line loaded up to see if in Soucy's absence, they can just cave in a compromised pairing?

They really need a trap door under Maclean's seat with boiling hot liquid magma a la Dr. Evil for his next stupid shameless pro-oilers take.

Splitting up McD and Dinksaitl eh?
How many coaches have tried before reuniting them as soon as the oilers are down by a goal or two? Deja vu from every other year.
They didn't need to change coaches five times just for the next guy to use precisely the same tactics ending in the same outcome lol.

The writer probably has more credibility in their pinky finger than there is in the whole Edmonton area code.

Tanev is the only guy that would have made a difference. Love Z and he's doing amazing for the Canucks, but not getting Tanev should be their only regret.

This is perfect
“The Dilution” up north is completely unaware that opinions are starting to turn against them on a wider level.
Completely discounting a high stick just below the eye that drew blood, unpenalized. A baseball swing that made contact just before the “cross check” unpenalized. A cross check to the face that actually caused injury, unpenalized.
They actually think they need to get retribution according to the “code”.
Silly
Retribution is coming

The other amusing thing is the oilers spent a 1st, conditional 5th that will become a 4th, and another 4th for Henrique, Carrick and Stetcher, none of whom are even playing for them in the series.
Incredible asset management by Hollandaze

Meanwhile everyone and their mother was saying to trade for a veteran backup. Now they're running with Calvin Pickard as their starter. They could of had Jake Allen for next to nothing.

They'll be glued to each others lines mid way through the 2nd.

They were saying playing them seperate allows the Oilers to double shift them.
So I am expecting: McDavid (double shift), Draisatl (double shift), McDavid (double shift), Draisatl (double shift), 3rd line.
Or something like that. I can see them both playing 27 or more again unless they are up a couple.

Imagine having a nagging back injury and being double shifted to a 29 minute game.
They're just getting by trying to get 2 guys to take on the workload of 4 guys. 8 years deep and can't trust a line without either guy on it to chip in.

They don’t even really need a coach.
They are essentially the Harlem Globetrotters

All I mean is, the Hockey News is not what used to be. Is anyone else running stories about how people are getting outraged? People should be upset, but I don't see too many reports about it.

Didn’t the Canucks yo-yo Schneider and Luongo during the playoffs and ended having to trade both?
Obviously these 2 bums aren’t on the same level but killing your goalies confidence is great.

Between how Koskinen, Campbell and now Skinner have been treated there, can't imagine the place has a glowing Google review score in the goalie community.
Friedman says the oilers didn't like Skinner's body language when beat. So he's supposed to not be upset or show emotion, but you also want a competitor? Lol.
Scapegoating goalies for not stopping shots from main street as a result of Nurse and Ceci's atrocious defense... nice.

We want the Canucks to win so we get their 24 3rd as well instead of their 24 3rd in the Lindholm trade.
Go Orcas go.

I always knew Button was braindead. Even Kyprios said yesterday it's a fine if it's on anyone but McDavid when Bourne was crying about the league needing to give extra protection for their stars.
