Can someone make a screenshot of McDavid eating the stick?

Actual video on Sportsnet homepage:

"Did the webbing of SIlov's glove steal a goal from Oilers?"

Also, make sure you watch the video about the Zadorov hit on Kane, just for the little girl almost crying at the end of the video.

Zadorov earning the next contract he wants. And I almost wish we'd give it to him

Seriously, the high danger chances at 5v5 in that game were 7-6 Oilers. That's not that lopsided.
Here's the 5 on 5 shot map. Vancouver kept the majority of those shots to the outside.

Oilers distribution of ice last night was truly elite. 5 forwards with less than 10 minutes, and 7 with less than 12. Effectively 30 minutes for McDavid and Draisaitl.

At the highest level, Nugent-Hopkins is having a great playoffs with 10 points in 8 games. Until you realize that’s 1 G, 9 A. 6 are PP points, and 2 were immediately following powerplays against kings. Kane played 14 minutes last night. Even their “depth” second line is getting 3rd/4th line ES minutes.

I was looking forward to reading some Ray Whitney tweets this morning. And there's nothing. He went dark, nothing but silence.

Yet they wouldn't review the slewfoots or the spear to the nuts the last game.

Eric Duhatschek has an article up on the Athletic basically lobbying for a suspension, ignoring the context and basically lying in print to try to lobby for the DOPS to do something. I mean I know sports journalists aren't REALLY journalists but it's embarrassing.

Doesn't he live here? Run him out of town on a rail, please.

Different set of rules for the Oilers compared to every other team. So I have no doubt that a Canuck will be suspended and little Connor, who started the whole thing with his two handed baseball swing on Soucy, will get nothing.

We all know where this is headed. You touch McDavid, you get a penalty. You harm him after the game? Very likely a suspension. Truth is, if you're going to take your shot, make it count.

His characterization deliberately and dishonestly omits important parts of the event to further an agenda, which is to get a player suspended. No one should be able to even pretend to be a journalist while being deliberately dishonest about the events they're writing about. Obviously the rules are relaxed a bit in a context as meaningless as sports but if this stuff mattered he shouldn't be allowed to do that job while behaving like this.

If you want to avoid injury to Connor, then tell him to avoid the smoke. He got what he asked for.
