Do eggs really last this long? Haven’t looked at these things for a month but says they are good for another. That can’t be right

They last this long? How have I not known this? Thought chicken abortions in a cocoon wouldn’t last more than milk.

The guy I get my farm fresh eggs from says they’ll last 2 weeks on the counter and “months” in the fridge.

I generally take 6 weeks to go through a carton of eggs... if I take longer they're still good but the shell gets thinner.

Yes eggs can last for a long time.

In other countries they dont even refrigerate them.

It's really only people in Canada and the US who refrigerate eggs.

Yeah, but I also believe I've read that the way our North American food industry processes the eggs, they recommend they be refrigerated. I get cartons of 18 and that lasts me about 5-6 days as every morning, I'll eat 3 for breakfast.

Yeah here they wipe off the coating that eggs naturally have that protect them. So in Europe they leave them on the counter, but here they have to be refrigerated.

That's very little eggs in your diet.

Today's my 30th birthday. Greatful to have made it this far and I know I still have much further to go. I definitely don't feel like I've done growing and improving. Looking forward to seeing what my 30's have in store for me

Happy birthday! That's a great attitude about growth and improving. I'm over twice your age and believe I'm still growing and improving. It's a choice we can all make between that or stagnation.

Milestone birthdays are always interesting. Think of all the things you’ve experienced and learned over the last 30 yrs, how many of them did accurately predict?

Look forward with anticipation of what is yet to come.

Happy Birthday!

You should be able to do simple math as an accountant. Let the Geologist figure this one out:

30 in 2024, joined in Dec 2010 so that would be 16 at that time but I'll need an Engineer to confirm my work.

Most of us here are so old that our ages can only be determined geologically, so we might need your future services.

Tbh none of them lol. Thought I'd get married and have kids with the first woman I fell for. That.....definitely did not happen. Already looking into school for something else other than the graphic design degree I got. It happens

What is the issue with graphic design? Does it just not provide enough "excitement" in the work or is it an opportunity issue in your area?

I ask because graphic design seems to be something that my kid is gravitating towards as he enters high school.
