[GT] Flames vs Avs

Team has completely abandoned putting any effort into playing he right way. Forwards cheating to go and create offense. F
Defense playing way too deep and not pressuring the rush at all.

These last two games are the worst I have ever seen the Flames play.

Say what you will about Sutter, but he got low skill teams to at least compete.

They said he fixed it up and started training and eating right.

His NTC kicks in July 1. The draft is the best place to trade him, or we will be handcuffed on his last year and I have no desire to sign another 30 plus to a 8 year deal. Andersson isn’t the player who is going to age well into his 30s.

He’s been TERRIBLE for four games. Just rotten. He should catch the flu and take the season off.

Well it’s what they should do if they want to be honest with themselves . They are going to be bad next year

Whether we are last bad , 5th worse bad, or 9th worse bad in a few years no one remembers a single game . They only remember where you are in the present

The sooner people accept and embrace the bad the easier it is to stomach .

I think the vets are shook to be honest. They've all been a part of the players having their way for so long. "Give us a chance to do this" year after year.

Now, the ex player gm says, nope, not again.

It's gonna be rough sledding for the rest of the year. Unless them vets get over things.

Hopefully we have learned from the Huberdeau deal.

I'm all for a rebuild but you have to have a handful of legit players to at least remain competitive. You can't ice a team that's going to lose 8-2 every night. It's a shame the team couldn't have signed Hanifin as he was the right age and it's clear he was underappreciated by a lot of Flames fans. The wheels have completely fallen off without him.

I think we need to respect the absolute Gordian knot that Conroy inherited from Treliving that involves unmovable contracts, a meddling owner, the threat of losing next years pick to Montreal, and a divided room full of guys who wanted either the coach fired or to leave town (or both).

He took over an absolute disaster of a franchise and is slowly working through it but it’s going to take a long time. A really long time
