And focus. Kiprusoff's focus on the puck was next level.

I’ve played ball hockey with and against Kipper Kid. Most goalies wear ice hockey goalie gear. His stuff looks like street hockey. lol.

But he’s a pretty good goalie. And a nice guy too

Does anyone know why they chose a week before deadline for kiprusoff night? Too many distractions to properly honour the guy.

I fully expect a pack of cigarettes at everyone’s seat on game day.

Fishing lures would get the fans out of their seats.

The honoree also gets his say in what day it is.

The only ones causing distraction on a day like today is the media stirring the pot. Flames are winning games.

And Markstrom isn't being shopped around, a mistake happened 3 weeks ago with regards to one team and the conversation pretty much died, but it keeps getting dredged up by media members looking to get attention.

A week to the deadline is a long way away from the frenzy. There have been what, 4 trades this week, Tanev obviously being the big one. They'll be 25 more next week.

They need to convince Hemsky to walk by Regehr one last time during After Hours so Reggie can recreate the tunnel of death, but in that hallway for old times sake.

Kipper is my all-time favorite Flame and it's not particularly close. Super happy to finally see #34 go up to the rafters, where it belongs.

Going through his career stats is mad ... man played seven seasons in a row with 70+ games (74, 74, 76, 76, 73, 71, 70). Just unreal.

So happy he is going to be honoured properly and even more happy he is attending. My #2 all time favorite Flame behind Iginla. I wanted to name my kid Kipper 4 years ago but wife Vetoed and went with Matthew. Look how that worked out. lol

Drive careful if you're coming from out of town. QE2 not great. Looking forward to seeing everyone safe and sound at the game.

First question from Scott “Mikka, aren’t you glad you played in a time when you didn’t have to face McDavid and Leon”

I would almost bet that somehow there will be a question along those lines...

"with so much speed in the league with McDavid, how would you deal with it if still playing.." type of question.
