Sillinger got the BJs on the board to make it 2-1 Rangers early in the third period. The Rangers did hang on and scored a pair of empty net goals to win 4-1.

Yeah, I'm fine with any of the teams fighting for the the last playoff spot beating the Oilers. They're going to win sometimes so I'd rather it be against the Oilers.

What are the chances that if Kulak was traded during a Flames game, Sportsnet would spend the intermission talking about it

Sportsnet talking heads are un ####ing believable. Calling out St. Louis players for dives while broadcasting the team that has taken diving and embellishing to an art form. Disappointed in Jennifer Botterill. She used to be pretty unbiased but this year she jumped right into the Oiler circlejerk with the rest of the clowns at Sportsnet.

How ####ing often is this the script lately?
Oilers fall behind, full credit to the opposition, then get propped back into the game with a chintzy call.

That sequence right there was a perfect example of why McDavid and Draisaitl lead the league in points annually, but never win anything.
The defenseman bobbled the puck at the blueline, and got rid of it, almost turning it over, which would have resulted in an odd man rush dor STL. Neither McDavid nor Draisaitl moved an inch, they both waited for someone to get the puck back so they could get an offensive opportunity.
Fortunately for them, the puck hit a skate and bounced to McDavid and he passed it to Drai. But had it not hit that skate, STL goes the other way. Just selfish hockey.

Teams need to start running Skinner seeing as the Oilers have added that to their repertoire.

Of course this will go to OT. Worst possible scenario for the Flames.

So the Stanley Cup contendas couldn't beat a non playoff team playing on the back half of a back to back in regulation. Yeah, the Oilers are definitely not all that.
