The team is who many of us thought they were yet we got shouted at for pointing it out.
They should have sold contracts at the trade deadline last year. Lindholm and Hanfin's value is decreasing every game.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that he be traded, more seeing what the return is if Conroy decides to monetize the entire roster for futures.

Hanifin, Lindholm, Tanev and Zadarov are all UFA's. No need to move a guy like Andersson at all. You can get plenty of picks with the first three alone if you play it properly.

56 points 27 goals as a 21 year old last year. The issue is he plays center behind a 21 year old who had 99 points and a 23 year old who had 80.
Both Mercer and Holtz would be interesting pick ups, who might be lost due to Jerseys depth.

Well, doh. Of course every team would want those guys. Will he be as valuable as a top pairing D? I doubt it from what I've seen. Even if he becomes a PPG winger he's not as valuable as Andersson.

I'd probably want to trade Anderssen at the 2026 deadline. He'll be a UFA that summer, and turns 30 that year. He'll be looking to cash in on a long term deal to take him to retirement. If they re-sign him, he'll be in the downswing of his career at the time when the Flames are finally on the upswing.

That is true. And for the record I like Rasmus and he is one of the few guys I would not trade. But he is top 25-30 guy in the league in my opinion, which makes him a #1 but not an elite number one in my mind. Many teams do not have a dman like him but I think Florida has two that clearly are.
