Yup, they might have gotten some really good players like Larkin and Mantha and Bertuzzi to make sure they are too good to get any great players while they miss the playoffs for the next 7+ years.

Karlsson gives them back a prime Letang. Or Gonchar from their early days. They were missing the play driving back end puck carrier. Karlsson IMO is a perfect fit for that team. I think they could have a cup in them still. Wouldn't bet against Crosby and Malkin in the playoffs for damn sure.

Sorry, I misspoke. It wasn't a welch (someone not paying a gambling debt). It was that he threw out a bet that I accepted that he never returned to. And it's not an issue of missing my post because Dino7C sees and replies to literally EVERYTHING on CP.

Step 2: Somebody says "yeah, I'l take that bet"
Step 3: Somebody says "okay we're on"

You've done that for every bet you've accepted (out of the silly hundreds you've thrown out there)...but ignored mine, which you've never done. How quickly you goofily went from "you're a liar, I never bet you" to "well okay, looks like that happened, but even though I never returned to confirm the bet it was technically on even though I called you a liar for claiming there was a ever a bet in the first place".
