I guess mostly the genres music at Stampede that I don't enjoy.
It is something for a different discussion but I was a big music guy in my 20s. I played in a band, played guitar, bass, and piano, and had a huge hipster vinyl collection. Suddenly I stopped listening and prefer silence most of the time these days. The interest and passion is just gone. Barely any music does anything for me anymore.
As far as alcohol - I had a failed liquor store business and I found out I'm actually allergic to it lol.

Just a heads up, the news got a hold of this story and since then the stampede has caved and said your hardcopy tickets from circle k will now get you in regardless of the codes being stolen or invalid.

Just wondering off the top of my head, what is the revenue like for actual ticket sales?
Are they thinking its just better to get these people onto the grounds so they can spend their money there rather than fighting about admission?

Probably just save the cost and administrative headache of lots of people clogging up the gates.

Every year am reminded how lame Stampede is unless you're going to a paid entry show.
Otherwise just an expensive way to walk around in a gross environment and burn a hole in your wallet.
The only redeemable part of the experience was the Jamaican food stand.

T&S are good performers but their music doesn't translate great live.
Doesn't get the people going.

I do miss your concept of Beer Vault though bud. The location wasn’t great for me, but the concept and variety was top notch.

Their food was great, and absolutely no lineup too.

Mostly agreed, but a couple of their songs did get a great response, plus them being a true local act does connect well with the crowd

The signs are all still up on the building too, and it's been what 5 years since they closed? Kinda shows that it was the location, not the idea that failed

It really depends on the venue. They are amazing when playing in places like The Bella or even the Jube where it feels more intimate.

Also always enjoy the art.
