Put it this way. Johansen is a very skilled player. Would I want him on my team? NOT A CHANCE. Quitter, whiner, not the sort of guy you want or build championships with. IMHO.

Johansen helped the Preds get to the finals and they may have won the cup if he didn't get injured. Seems like a player who can be part of a championship team to me.

Why? Can you provide any examples? This is completely baseless and reflects poorly on you.

See Johansen's last few games with the BJs. He quit on his team. Ugly.

That team was ugly. Tortorella was a disaster and escalated things with Johansen. That situation was toxic. You cant rest the blame for the situation solely on the shoulders of Johansen.

Please provide examples of how he is not a bum. Because he really seems like a bum.

He trashed Kesler on and off the ice.
I was happy with the man.
"“He just blows my mind, I don’t know what’s going through his head out there,” said Johansen, who had a goal and an assist in the loss. “His family and friends watching him play, I don’t know how you cheer for a guy like that.
“It just doesn’t make sense how he plays the game. I’m just trying to go out there and play hockey, and it sucks when you have to pull a stick out of your groin after every shift.”

I would say "post of the year" but, of course, that is said many times (including by me).
So I'll go with "post of the day".

Not a great contract. It's not a huge or massive overpayment by any means, but it's more than he deserves. I'm just not a fan of RyJo.

Huh?
Its funny how people underrate this guy. He's an absolute beast with the puck on his stick, is a face-off ace and is only just starting to reach his full potential at 25. Sure, you have to pay for potential when signing a deal like this but it's a pretty safe bet even if his offensive numbers don't get back to the 70+ point levels he's shown in the past.
