The Sasha flashbacks really cut into the pace of the episode. Build up a bunch of tension....then let it out with a flashback to her and Abraham that you don't care about.

Not to mention that if you hadn't figured Sasha + pill out already having a flashback in Walking Dead is a surefire sign that you're going to die.

Flashbacks or backstory construction with an emphasis to rush or remind us of the character's emotional complexity = imminent death of said character.

At first the formula was a bit comedic and kind of an inside joke, but it started to get redundant a while ago and is now negatively impacting the show, IMO.

There is no way Carl can control an SLR. Some of the other weapons look like leftovers from Space Ship Troopers.

OK, so who actually kills Negan? My money would be on Rick, but several other characters could get the job as well.

Oh, it will be Rick. Even if someone is holding a gun to Negan's head I imagine he'd let Rick do the honours.

It'll be Rick....but its not going to be quick and easy. I hope they take Lucille away and make Negan fight the tiger in the Garbage-Thunderdome.

Remember when they were lined up to get killed at Terminus and Gareth asks Rick whats in the bag that he buried and he tells him about the machete and promises him that its the weapon hes going to use to kill him and then in the Church what happens? Oh yes...machete to the face.

My money is on Rick killing Negan with his oft-maligned hatchet or perhaps even 'Lucilling' Negan.

Rick for sure, but hopefully Maggie gets to take chunk of Negan for herself before he's finished off. Like a good solid shot to the head with a baseball bat that leaves him with a bulging eyeball.

Terrible finale. Just terrible. It was so predictable. I'll echo others. Sasha turning was plain as day right from the get go. The garbage pale kids had to be the little birdies Negan referred to. It wasn't clear before tonights episode, but it sure became clearer when creepy blonde smiled at Michonne and says "we win". And when all of them made a point of standing behind the Alexandria people it was pretty much crystal clear.

Did they honestly expect us to think it was Michonne who died? C'mon.

And Coral was the one to jump on the opportunity to spin around and attack the garbage people? Also c'mon. On top of that, no way they would have survived that as well as they did. All the garbage people were standing behind the good guys. You'd get a few maybe but not enough to stop the rest from killing everyone.

Just awful.

It'll be Eugene, and it will be similar to how Darth Vader kills Emperor Palpatine, less the lightning fingers and costumes of course.

Eugene will finally find his courage standing next to Negan as he's about to do something terrible. They'll be backed into a situation where they're standing above a pit of walkers, and Eugene will tackle Negan, pulling them both into the pit of walkers. He'll sacrifice himself for the sake of the group that he betrayed.

I should be a writer. This is easy.

As soon as the group started shooting the garbage pile kids why wouldnt bowl cut just shoot Rick in the head. She didnt do anything, just stood there holding the gun on him.

Funny you say that, I couldn't figure out what Sasha's plan was. Maybe to make Neegan look bad when she showed up dead? I had entirely forgotten I was watching a zombie show and she would turn. That's how little the zombie bits of the show mean these days. I totally blanked on that!

I had to wonder if the dumpster dummies were given strict orders not to kill any of them, under any circumstance. That's the only way it made any sense.
