Sounds like she told her team that she's done and it will be announced soon.

I have to wonder how much Ronda really wanted to fight again after getting crushed by Holms, though she looked to be in fantastic shape she just didn't look like the same confident fighter.

but a 3 million dollar purse would make me get my face punched in for 48 seconds.

They yelled out, "More! " and Nunes obliged
I had to think of some way to turn the tides
So I leaned back to her with all of my might
Took a swing, but she caught me with a sucker punch right

Then a sucker punch left and a sucker punch right
Then twenty-two consecutive sucker punch rights

Hungover from NYE and just watched the RR fight. I'm a fan of hers, but that is the worst I've seen her look. She was reaching her hands out to play patty-cakes with the incoming 1-2s. This is something you see in introductory MT classes and almost never with anyone who has trained MT or boxing for any appreciable time. The one power 3 she threw had her out of position, both body and chin. She has to clean that up or it's the end of the career.

Audio of her trainer, Edmond Tarverdyan, was released, and you can hear the horror in his voice as he watches helplessly from outside the Octagon while Rousey eats a barrage of punches

Wow, nice link. The whole fight is shown. My bad, RR threw a 4, not a 3 that left her so open. No angles from Nunes, straight ahead spamming 1-2 or 1-OR with hands down between shots. Terrible from RR, looked like a gym noob getting bullied.

Dana White offers Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather $25 million each and PPV cut.

Quote:
UFC President Dana White has stepped in between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, blasting the boxing champ’s offer to the Irish UFC champ and countering with his own.

After Mayweather claimed to offer McGregor $15 million to his $100 million, White came on FS1’s “The Herd” today to offer the fighters $25 million each and a possible cut of the pay-per-view revenue for a boxing match.

“There’s a real offer to Floyd,” White said.

Maybe someone who follows boxing could weigh in here with a more educated opinion, but wouldn't MacGregor get absolutely demolished in a BOXING match against one of the better boxers of our time?

Would MacGregor even have a chance?

Just like if they had an MMA match Conor would embarrass Mayweather without question.

In a boxing match, against probably what I think is the best defensive boxers since Sugar Ray? It will go the distance because Mayweather will allow it to go the distance. But MacGregor gets picked apart.

In an MMA match, of course Mayweather loses.

Floyd probably wants a 70-30 PPV split at least, even with $25 million guaranteed (and that'd be 70 to him and 30 to the UFC and Conor to split). So maybe Dana and Conor still take it, it's a lot of money. But it might be an even more boring fight than Manny and Floyd. Though really, if I was Conor, I would straight up get myself disqualified, but by doing something to humiliate Floyd. Money's the same no matter what, so go be a legend. Cause he's got no shot to win an actual boxing match.

Haha. Yeah, wear gloves that can be taken off easily, then take him down and GnP the shat out of him. After that take his back and choke him out.

Would be pretty epic haha

Well Floyd call Dana a "####ing comedian" for his $25 million offer, so I guess that's that lol.

A boxing match with MMA gloves would be interesting.

Any tips on the best coverage for a newbie?

I've only started following MMA. I find the women's matches more interesting and sort of like what I've seen from Joanna Jedrzejczyk. I've pretty much just been watching through YouTube.

I downloaded the official app but unless you sign up for a pass, you can't watch any of the videos. Is it worth signing up?

One thing that confuses me is all the sub-UFC organizations -- StrikeForce, Cage something or other... there seems to be dozens. Is any of that stuff worth following? Are those like minor leagues to the UFC?

I guess the UFC XXX PPVs are the main events. Is it worth subscribing to the Fight Network?

Okay, sorry for all the questions...
