Yeah, I saw it on Amazon, but decided to go direct from Ojocam cause the price was a bit lower. .
It may be best to go directly through the manufacturer or be sure you're dealing with a licensed distributor. Some manufacturers won't honour warranties if you buy from some unaffiliated 3rd party. Escort Radar has a vast list of "who not to buy from". Some auto parts sites too.

Ojocam is the manufacturer. I bought it directly from them.
I'll be buying this one shortly: https://www.amazon.ca/Official-VIOFO.../dp/B01N1NZ2GH It is well reviewed and I like that when installed with the GPS, it acts like a dock. So its easy to throw it in the glove box to prevent break and enters.
I have this one also, and I always recommend it to anyone looking for a dash cam. Not a single issue with it. Crystal clear. Easy to use. Highly recommend this one.
I use an A118c like some people do. An A119 is a good choice too, but the 118 goes on sale every now and then with a card on amazon for <$100 (which it should, its not a new option at all). I prefer how it mounts, suction cups are jittery and bump around, and the 118 just looks in place when its all installed properly and hardwired to run with the vehicle. 1080p is easily enough, unfortunately it does 1080p @30fps, 60fps would be nice but again you may run into bitrate and write limitations depending on the equipment.
I'm unsure what you mean by a back up camera with dash cam features? you can't get that together. You can get front and rearview dash cams as though, but I'm not sure I see a ton of need for rear view
I did an unboxing and install of it. There's also footage.
The app is the best part. I just hit the wifi button, link up to my phone and I can watch video playback. I can also download and pick specific videos if they activated the park assist or were marked as "saved" due to a sudden jolt.
Bump - Looking at dash cams since I commute more these days. Are these things OK to leave out in -20 to -30 weather, or should I be choosing one that is easy to bring in during cold winter spells?

Cold like that will kill a battery so you want one with a capacitor.
Timely bump - does anyone have any thoughts on using something like this to tap power off my mirror vs running to the fuse box? I know fuse box would give me power when the car is off but is there any downside to the mirror tap I might be missing?
