I had to watch the game on delay and just finished.

My normal resting heart rate is 51 bpm. That last 5 minutes of the third, I hit 76 bpm

Hiller has won two in a row in VERY tough buildings at a critical point in the season. I think he deserves the next start.

I would. Hartley's tendency has been to ride a goaltender until they stumble, no reason to stop now. Hiller, aside from the first goal, was very good and kept us in it.

I am so proud.

What an emotional connection this team has forged with the fans this year. Brilliant.

Yea it's not like he won the last two games which were two of the biggest, most pressure filled of the season.

Johnny slid face first to stop a pass immediately after he blocked the first shot. My heart skipped a beat on that one. With Bennett these guys will be trying to catch the puck in their teeth.

I haven't heard any Hartley quotes yet. I'm fully expecting 'We have to get out of town before someone calls the Texas Rangers'.

Hiller stole us the win in the 3rd and won us the game. No way Hartley doesn't play him.

If Hiller has twitter, CP should jihad his twitter and get him to use the retro mask.

As soon as he put it on, we buried one.

Is Monahan ok? He took an elbow to the head late in the third.

It was late in the 2nd. And he's fine. Didn't miss a shift.

Um, what? Hiller was fantastic in this game. Without him this game is a blowout.

I think my point is, why not take the team out of it and see what a good coach and system can do. We have seen it many times in the past and I don't think Hartley gets wnoughy credit. I'm done lol!

Nice 'hit by a sniper' dive Enroth, your training from your captain is almost complete. Dallas can pound sand.

I've always wondered what pound sand meant. I assumed it meant like, have sex with sand or...put sand up your butthole or something.

TIL

Pound Sand
"The origin of the expression go pound sand is from a longer expression, not to know (have enough sense to) pound sand down a rathole. Filling rat holes with sand is menial work, and telling someone to pound sand down a hole is like telling them to go fly a kite. The expression dates to at least 1912 and is common in the midwestern United States."

I get that we won, still he gives me a heart attack for the way he plays. He's so small in the net that whe he goes down that he leaves the top part open. He is not my choice beyond this season.
