ESPN has recently completed their annual uniform rankings for the four major sports. (MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL)
The Flames dropped eight spots from last year to 87th this year. (122 total teams)
This team has had some odd uni-related moments. Remember the diagonal jersey stripe? The fire-breathing stallion? The big problem now is the use of black on the home jersey. Come on, you're the Flames, not the charred ashes! And while you're at it, clean up the underarm area and side panels on the home and road designs. Bonus points for using the franchise's old Atlanta Flames logo for the alternate captaincy designations. (Meanwhile: There's some chatter about the Flames trading in their retro alternate for a new alternate design this season. Stay tuned.)
There's no way the Flames jerseys are worse than the Canucks
Flames have a ten times better logo than the Canucks with their stupid watermark design. For the jersey design I agree the Nucks are better, its clean, neat and not with stupid reebok striping.
Not a fan of the Nucks but not a Homer not to admit the truth

How can the canucks jerseys be considered "clean and neat" compared to the Flames when they have that idiotic VANCOUVER word art above their logo?
The vertical striping is ugly, yes; but largely unnoticeable IMO. Nitpicking a solid jersey that is only slightly different from the beloved 04 version.

Nevermind the Canucks, how the heck do the Washington Wizard or Oklahoma City Thunder beat us....by a lot too...huh?
Oh boy, that's all I need to hear to know this list is 100% bull plop. Unless they don't take the logo into consideration when doing their rankings?
I don't follow basketball, are they still using this logo?:
Spoiler!
OKC Thunder is one of the worst logos ever created:
NO thunder
NOTHING to do with Oklahoma
Strange, bright, sunny colours for a team named THUNDER
Disgusting, godawful typography. Multiple fonts. Kerning way off.
Random stripes
It reads "Thunder OKC"
The shield edges don't line up with the "thunder" above the shield
I have a friend who wears an OKC Thunder shirt all the time and I can't stop staring at the craptastic logo and wondering how someone got paid to make it.

Well a cloud and dark colours would be a start. Rain. Possibly a visual representation of sound waves. Thor or his hammer maybe. Lightning is less than ideal, but would be better than what looks like a sunset with a clipart basketball.
It's ESPN, I take any criticism they may give with little credibility, especially when it comes to the NHL. If TSN (yes, I know TSN is owned by ESPN) were to do the rankings, it would be a different story. There is not a single basketball or football uniform nicer than a hockey or baseball uniform.
