If the Flames would have came out with a solid win last night I may have some optimism but given they open up with a stinker....again. A terrible 2nd period....again. Lack of finish....again. Visiting team wins the goaltending duel....again. This looks to be the same team that a lot of people blamed Brent Sutter for so I expect an outcome similar to how this group plays against the Ducks team which is usually a loss as they have never been able to handle Perry, Getzlaf, and Ryan. Normally I would predict a close loss at home against the Ducks but given how gassed the Canucks looked in the 2nd of back to back games this one could get ugly.
I guess the basic plan against Anaheim is still the same: outwork their first line and don't take penalties. Should be a winnable game at least in theory, so long as they don't hand the advantage to the Ducks.
play keep away from Selanne and the Flames should win...
man.. the more I look at that White away jersey, the more stupid I think it looks. I'd like to give a piece of my mind to the person who created the design of that jersey. It's so ugly.

Baertschi gets one today, he showed he's one of the most talented players on the team. I'm gonna be pissed if cammy stinks it up again, they have a real opportunity to become the first line. The biggest thing I noticed was how much space backlund and Sven were creating, they really opened up the defense and played a solid east west game entering the zone it's something we haven't seen since juice was here

Knowing the Flames as I do, they will get blown out tonight then proceed to dismantle the Canucks in Vancouver. Buckle up for another near miss everyone!

Don't think so. Judging on what Hartley said, I don't think he's in town yet but is expected "sometime this week" as he's taking care of all the things that need to be dealt with when someone passes.
