There is something fishy going on here. I just voted once in Chrome and once in IE. After the Chrome one the standings were Gaudreau 2687, Knight 2580 (identical to what Rhettzky said). After I voted in IE Gaudreau was still at 2687 and Knight had gained two votes.
My guess is that it determines whether to show the vote page or the results page based on your browser cookies but actually records the vote or not based on your IP address.
Yeah, I tried the multiple browser thing with IE and Firefox, and it wasn't counting my votes after the first one.
Those North Koreans, er, Dakotans are a persistent bunch. I really think they don't want their boy losing. Or, since Kinight is a local boy, we could be dealing with a group of voters that are local to this province...
I just voted on Chrome was at 2698 and than went and voted in Firefox and its gone up to 2700 now.
That vote might have come from someone else, though. I agree with the others - it's not allowing votes, most likely by ip address.
For instance, I can get the vote page as many times as I want using Incognito mode in chrome, but only the first vote actually gets tallied.
I think one way to possibly game the system is to use proxies. Those of you who use proxies for us netflix access might be able to vote multiple times.
Lost the lead guys. Wannamaker would be so disappointed in us.
