Yes - most times they'll reply to your tweets with a shortened URL which will be spam.

I think so - they usually have some vague descriptor like "I'm really absorbed and occupied.Sometimes blocked and 160. Endorsed"

I wouldn't worry about blocking them. Twitter is getting better a pruning these people if they start spamming.

They could also be using an automated program based on search terms. They'll usually disappear if you don't follow them back.

Not a big fan of the new way in which you reply to people. Instead of a window opening, it happens underneath the tweet or thread of tweets you're replying to. It also makes it more complicated to RT before what you're re-tweeting.

I suppose I'll get use to it . . .

What does Ezra Levant do on a Wednesday night? Search twitter for tweets that don't @ him, but just have his name in it. Then his followers start running to his defense. Neat!

To bump this thread. Twitter is a great, IMO. I pretty much use it for all my news these days. Just a great service. And I thought for years it was dumb. I mean really, who would write 140 characters of something and get people to read it?
