Terrestrial radio? What's that?
/smug
I listen to:
X92.9
960 (only during Jim Rome)
660
1010 (I'm some sort of pink-commie latte lover)

Sorry, this isn't Forbes, I was just curious what every listens to. I am thinking of paying for a radio advertisement and wanted to know which station was listened to by most.

I listen to static. AM101 is my favourite because their static sounds the most crisp.

There are stats out there that can tell you what listenership numbers are like.
CP is only a mere fraction of Calgarians, and you'd get an even smaller fraction of CPers who'd respond to this thread.

If you tune the static just right during a lightning storm, you can hear the static change. Anyway...
I used to like x92.9, but that smarmy morning host Fraser doing the disaffected Chandler Bing / Dennis Miller schtick irritates the hell out of me. Same with Forbes but for different reasons..
I usually go between 90.3, 97.7 and 98.5 when there's nothing interesting on CBC or FAN960.

Fan960 gets about 99% of my radio's time
660News gets 1% - mostly during crap weather days, when I want to know the road report
If I want to listen to music I have my iPOD.

I like Fraser as a DJ because he doesn't do the typical cheery, cheese-ball DJ routine most morning hosts do. He works well with Roger. Plus they have a mean streak which I relate to.

Kool 101.5, Vibe 98.5, Q107. I basically just flip around to avoid commercials and annoying songs.

Fan960 in the morning. I've always liked Boomer and with Rhett now it is clicking.
x92.9 but I really don't care for Roger. I do like Frasier and most of the other on air folk.
Eagle 100.9 - I'm over 40 so I'm allowed
JackFM - I actually like Eric Francis but maybe that's because comparatively Matt O'Neil has gotten annoying.

I agree with x92.9 being good because they aren't acting super-excited over what happened on <insert reality show name>. I thought they were still a lot better off before Fraser came in. I enjoyed the unpolishedness of the morning show before then. It reminded me of the early Late Night with David Letterman episodes. Fraser, while I find him annoying, brought in some experience that makes it seem less like a youthful radio station.
