Does anyone else write out a post, preview it, then just before hitting submit, you decide you'd rather not say this and so you exit out of that page?

I do this a few times every day. Sometimes I actually get as far as submitting the post, but then I try and edit it before it gets seen.

I'm a very impulsive person... can't really explain it.

Not only does it happen to you a lot but I know numerous other CPers have posted the same thing. (although it probably took them a couple of tries because they typed it out and then erased it just before they hit submit the first few times)

Also the idea of being a threadkiller (ricosauve's custom title IIRC) is something I've felt. Like as soon as I post people are like "pfft now this thread is dead".

As for being a post whore, I've never really felt that I was post whoring until Thursday night IIRC. I was at about 4960 posts and knew that 5000 was an extra exp square. Also I knew I was going to Regina for the weekend. SInce I know they don't have internet in the Vag (being hillbillies and all) I wanted to get to 5k before I left so I stayed up until about 2am and just replied to every new post in OT and FOI. I felt kind of dirty but I got to 5k before I left.

Does anyone think that Random Thoughts has kind of ruined CP?

I mean before this thread people actually created and contributed to real threads about real topics and had real discussions. Now it is the same 20 people posting and thanking each other for random stupid sh** over and over.

Actually sometimes the discussions in this thread remind me of a Kevin Smith movie. Funny, clever but very little substance and usually not a discussion that anyone but about 5 people find is worth having.

Obviously I don't really think so because I post in here a lot. I jsut thought some CP vets might feel that way.

I jacked it today for the first time since that bitch took a huge steaming dump on my life, and after it was over, I didn't miss her anymore...and I wasn't sad or upset at all about what happened.

So I guess that's what she was to me, just a cum dumpster. When I'm no longer horny, I no longer care.

As horrible as that sounds, it's comforting for me to realize this.

Also, how does the forum software know which posts I've read and which I haven't? You know that little down arrow red button just to the left of the thread name, when I click it it brings me to the last unread post, but how does it know which one that is???

(I'm aware that there is an obvious answer here but it still bothers me sometimes.)
