House of the Dead for wii

My wife loves to play this game in the arcade whenever we go see a movie so I figured I would pick it up for the wii. Here's the problem though, it says to activate 2 player mode simply press the A button and away you go, well after about an hour of trying no such luck, it doesn't recognize the second remote.

Any ideas or anyone else have this problem?

does the 2nd controller work for any other game? Does it need to be sync with the Wii? is the battery dead? it could be a few things...

I tried this game out with a friend and it worked fine. Maybe just sync the controller?

Also, its bogus that there aren't unlimited continues....

yup just needed to sync the controller but what a pain in the ass. And yes it does suck that there aren't unlimited continues

I would love to get this game, but apparently blowing apart zombies isn't a family friendly activity :/

It's similar to Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles - a rail shooter.
