My crystal ball tells me that many of tomorrows accidents will be following too close related.

Question for guys with winter tires...how many seasons do they typically last? And do they really get chewed up if driven on dry pavement too much? Just wondering when I should put mine on.

4x4, CPs resident road rage expert....I love it....

Tonight was insane, I think tomorrow will be better, Deerfoot and Glenmore were alright on my way home a few minutes ago.

I voted for 85

I just drove home along 22x and it wasn't that bad- mind you there were no other cars on the road.

I wish I could stay home tomorrow! Maybe a late start is in order, then I'll get to sleep in too.

I already saw a fire truck and two police cruisers no doubt going to a scene on bow bottom to deerfoot.

It's gonna be bad driving in the morning. Hell, I damn near slid through an intersection tonight, and that's before the extra snow fell. Stupid winter.

excellent, I get to try out the ETS on my car for the first time.

I'm going to go full speed at some pedestrian and then slam on the brakes at the last second to see if it works.

Police are reporting dozens of fender benders already.

Let the games of bumper cars begin

Very glad I don't work tomorrow. First snowfall of the year is always the worst for driving.

Roads are fine this morning, but a little sloppy from the sanding. Other than a few residential stop signs, I encountered few slippery conditions. Only one incident that I came across.

I just got off nights...when the snow started falling we probably had in the few dozen range (approximately a dozen injury accidents)...I can't imagine what it'll be like this rush hour. Glad its the start of my five off....

Well there were 60 accidents in between 6 - 10pm last night, but things were pretty smooth coming into downtown from Signal Hill this morning.

Number of accidents from this past Tuesday per Citybeat:

Tuesday November 27, 2007 has been a very busy day for the
Calgary Police Service. The Calgary Police Service responded
to a number of traffic collisions due to the first
significant snowfall of the season.

Between 0600 and 1800 hours the Calgary Police Service
responded to 34 injury motor vehicle collisions and 364
property damage motor vehicle collisions.

The Calgary Police Service reminds everyone to drive with due
care, slow down and leave plenty of room to stop as the roads
a very slippery.

this city is ridiculous. If Sutter would trade Tanguay we wouldn't have had half of these accidents

My friend had his car hit in front of his house while parked in October and his car still hasn't been fixed. It's been sitting in the lot of the body shop the entire time. I can't imagine the wait times now...

Well if the shops weren't filled with people getting "winter tires" installed....

For BMW's the body shop they use apparently is taking bookings in March for major work.
