Default Why your username?

So I was just wondering the background behind your guys username and why you picked it on CP. Mine was a football nickname I got because of my first name (Patrick) and 11 was my football number.

So tell us the story behind your username.

Popular Japanese wrestler, who cheated alot of the time behind the ref's back. I like that. Plus, in one video game, he had a fork to gouge people's eyes out with. I was sold.

Ozy is short for Percy Shelley's poem "Ozymandias", and Flame comes from my love for the Flames. Subsequent addition makes for one awesomely combined moniker.

Two reasons.

I love cereal and would constantly eat it growing up. I was a defenseman in hockey who didn't have much in the way of offensive skills, but I was named team captain one year so Captain Crunch

I just typed in the name of the song I was listening to when I signed up. That song happened to be Coldplay - Sparks. Creative, I know.

I'm from the Maritimes, and I give (or at least used to give) scouting reports on Flames prospects in the QMJHL. Started with Ramholt, and then Pardy (both of whom played for my hometown team Cape Breton Screaming Eagles).

So Maritime Q~Scout

I used to live in Sylvan Lake....Thats was like 3 towns ago though...I really should just shorten my name to Syl since Sylvanfan is now like Osoyoosfan and that would confuse folks. I think most peopel would recognize Syl for short.

I was pissed off at the Playoffs from '06 and all the penalty calls from the brand "New NHL" that it carried over into when I signed up. So Power Play and Playoffs became PowerPlayoffs because of all the ######ed calls.

I'd kill for a one time name change.

Well it's my last name plus "er" plus my favorite number, combining into one awesome name that I use pretty well everywhere. It's nice having a last name like Berg. Makes for a tonne of nicknames haha.

How many times has this thread been done on CP? Oh well, hasn't been in a while I guess.

My name is Evan, I used to think it was cool to make it "evman". 15 was my favourite number growing up but it was taken when I signed up for hotmail 8 or 9 years ago so I made it evman150. Then six years ago when I joined CP I kept the same name.

Kind of odd to think how long I've been on this forum for, and some guys have been on here almost twice as long!
